To the family of John Paul. I am so very sorry for your loss. I, too, understand the loss of a loved one so dear. I would like to share with you a few encouraging thoughts from the bible as it has helped me. God promises to do away with all pain, suffering, and even death. It says, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:4. Also, God gives us hope that we will see our loved ones again that have passed away in death. Acts 24:15 says, “and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of... the righteous...' Psalm 37:29 says, “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.” We will have the chance to live forever with our loved ones in a paradise condition free from harm and death like it was originally purposed. I hope this will bring you some sort of comfort during difficult this time.
